Denver Skyline to See Glittering New High-Rises

Two 40-story buildings housing condominiums priced up to $1 million each could see construction later this year in downtown Denver.

The Miami-based Renzi Development, which has an extensive record of retail and office development in that city’s financial district, has said it wants to build what will be a $500 million project at the corner of 19th and Arapahoe streets.

That prime real estate site, surrounded by high-rise offices and hotels, measures 55,000 square feet.

As currently planned, what is being called Paradise Living will see two curved towers with sun decks framing an exterior park space. Those towers will comprise some 1.1 million square feet.

The project will also include three swimming pools and 30,000 square feet of retail space.

Analysts say Paradise Living will respond to what is regarded as a growing demand in Denver for condominium space.

If all goes according to plan, construction on the new high-rises should be complete by the fall of 2018.
