Responding to Ongoing Need, New Denver Residential Project Targets Affordable Income Tenants

A growing residential development company with offices in Denver and Salina, Kansas has big plans for a site on the northeast side of the Mile High City.

The Overland Property Group has announced that it wants to build up to 120 residential units that will all be designated as affordable near Pena Boulevard. That affordable equation means that the units will be open to those making anywhere from 30% to 80% of area medium income.

The project, which also see the construction of a spacious clubhouse, is an extension of an earlier residential development undertaken by Overland that was built in 2022 and included 144 affordable units.

The Reserves at Valley Ranch at 4991 N. Telluride Street will include one, two, and three-bedroom units. The project is being designed by the Salina-based Jones Gillam Renz Architects.

Overland has historically been active in its native Kansas but has also taken on a wide variety of projects in Iowa, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, and Wyoming.
