A two-day auction is set to begin on September 22 for a five-story office building just a few  blocks to the south of the Colorado State Capitol.

Located at 800 N. Grant Street in what is known as the Governor’s Park neighborhood, the building was built in 1972 and is designated as a Class B structure.

Measuring around 44,100 square feet, the structure has always served as an office building. According to the auction notice posted by realtor CRBE, the building is now about 25% leased.

Included with the building is a separate three-story parking garage with room enough for 112 vehicles. The garage was extensively updated three years ago.

The structure is in an eclectic part of the city seeing the mixed development of modern multi-story office buildings, and some historic mansions dating to the late 19th century.

The Governor’s Park area is generally bordered by the state capitol and the historic Speer neighborhood. Speer home prices in 2024 averaged out to around $666,000.

The auction has a $750,000 starting bid.
