A complex on the east side of Tucson that once housed offices for the Geico Insurance company may soon be subject to a repurposing.
Located at the intersection of East Speedway and North Kolb Road, the complex includes three buildings, comprising a total of around 129,000 square feet.
Geico operated out of the complex for nearly two decades between 2002 and 2020.
The two-story complex, which was built in 1988, has been purchased by the Tucson-based real estate agency Larsen Baker for $2.7 million.
Reports indicate that the complex, sitting on a 9-acre site, may be reconfigured into a multi-office or multi-tenant space. In a statement, Isaac Figueroa, vice president of real estate with Larsen Baker, said the property is subject to its “next successful iteration.”
Figueroa added that the complex, designated as a Class B building, was well-built and has been “well maintained by its last owner.”
The complex is in a section of Tucson dotted with modern multi-story office buildings dating to the 1980s and 1990s.
