A nearly century-old brick church in the Garfield neighborhood of Phoenix is now up for sale, representing the latest in one-time church listings seen in both Arizona and across the country.
Located at 902 E. McKinley Street, the church structure measures just over 13,200 square feet and is designated as a Class B structure.
Formerly the home of the long-standing First Missionary Church, the building later housed the Spirit & Life Church and underwent some renovation and upgrade work nearly two decades ago.
The building is in a section of the city known for its bungalows largely built between 1880 and the 1930s. The property, with stained glass windows and a two-story bell tower, has an asking price of $2.6 million
It is being listed by the Phoenix-based real estate company 33 Degrees CRE.
