A group that specializes in autism therapy has announced plans to build just under a dozen new centers as it grows its footprint in the West.
The Indianapolis-based Hopebridge Autism Therapy Centers, says its new centers in Arizona and Colorado will be part of a larger effort to build around 20 new locations nationally before the end of the year.
The other new facilities are pegged for Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio.
One of the largest autism therapy networks in the nation, Hopebridge’s Arizona plans call for the opening of 9 new centers in metropolitan Phoenix, with two others in Flagstaff and Tucson.
Hopebridge already has a working facility in Denver, while plans are actively underway for new centers in Aurora, Englewood, Fort Collins, Lakewood, and Westminster.
To date, Hopebridge, which was founded in 2005, has 57 locations nationally for children requiring behavioral diagnosis and applied analysis. The company specifically focuses on occupational, speech, and feeding therapies.
Those facilities generally measure around 10,000 to 12,000 square feet, although some are as large as 15,000 square feet, and house gym space, therapy rooms, and a motor skills room, among other features.
