A building in downtown Denver housing one of the city’s most popular and well-known bars is up for sale after having been sold less than four years ago for $23.5 million.

Located at 1946 Market Street, the structure is a club and business spot for the country singer and songwriter Dierks Bentley, who opened his restaurant and bar franchise there in late 2021.

The space was formerly the home to a popular nightspot called Lodo’s Bar and Grill before undergoing substantial renovation work that included building a large stage for live music and 65-foot video screen designed to enhance the concert experience.

Measuring more than 19,000 square feet, the two-story structure is designated as a Class A building and includes outdoor deck space and several bars.

The Whiskey Row brand is owned by Bentley and is reference as a “gastropub,” or an establishment with an equal emphasis on drinking and eating. Other Bentley Whiskey Row pubs are in Nashville, Tennessee and the Arizona cities of Gilbert and Scottsdale.

The listing for the Denver Whiskey Row building by the realty company Unique Properties of Denver does not include a sales price.

According to a flyer compiled by Unique Properties, Whiskey Row has a long-term lease at the property that won’t expire until the end of 2031.

Bentley has released twelve albums between 2001 and last year, selling upwards of six million copies.
