The stone and wood structure is located at 3491 US Highway 82 in Mayhill, with a population of less than ten people.
Built in 1958, the 6,2230-square-foot structure has for years been the home to the iconic Mayhill Cafe, an eatery known for its wide variety of Mexican dishes as well as what has been described as breakfast, lunch, and dinner “comfort food.”
Sitting on a less than one-acre site, the property also includes upstairs hotel space with four rooms and five baths. The building also features a utility-sized kitchen, office space, dining room and front upper wooden balcony.
Listed at $650,000, the structure is being offered by the real estate firm of Future Real Estate of Alamogordo.
