A nearly century-old church in the city’s Manhattan Heights neighborhood three miles to the northeast of downtown El Paso is now on the market with an asking price of just under $400,000.
The property five years ago was appraised at around $349,000.
Located at 2800 San Diego Avenue, the 7,100-square-foot structure is designated as a Class B structure and sits on a less than one-acre site in a residential neighborhood.
Serving as the home to a Church of Christ congregation, the brick-designed church features a three-story tower, courtyard, entrance lobby, office space, children’s room, and nave with seating space for up to 280 people.
Since its opening in 1930, the facility has always been the home of the First Church of Christ.
The property is being listed by Coldwell Banker Commercial of El Paso.
