A nearly 20-year-old mansion that has been home to a best-selling author in Greenwood Village, Colorado is now on the market
Located at 1350 E. Greenwood Lane, roughly 15 miles due south of Denver, the structure houses five bedrooms and eight bathrooms, and measures just under 10,000 square feet.
The mansion has been the residence for the last thirteen years of Tommy Spaulding, whose books, including It’s Not Just Who You Know, have made it to the New York Times best seller lists.
The house also includes a library, wine room, extensive kitchen, home gym, and sauna. The exterior of the property, on a less than one-acre lot, features a fire pit and covered patio.
The $5.9 million asking price for the mansion, up from the $1.7 million Spaulding paid for it in 2012, reflects real estate trend lines in Greenwood Village.
Serving as a bedroom community for metro Denver, Greenwood Village has enjoyed a significant real estate boom with the average price of a home now at $1.5 million, up from $300,000 a decade ago.
Greenwood Village’s typical household income is additionally impressive at $145,000 – above the $92,000 state average.
The Spaulding mansion is being listed by LIV Sotheby’s International Realty, which has offices in nearby Castle Rock.
