A one-story Tucson office building built 33 years before Arizona became a state is on the market for $795,000.
Located at 290 N. Meyer Avenue, what is officially called the Palacio Ruella House is a one-story mud adobe structure categorized as a Class B building.
Measuring just over 2,300 square feet, the building features a large zaguan entry, hardwood floors, corner fireplaces, and transom windows.
The structure currently houses half a dozen office spaces, with a kitchen.
The Palacio Ruella House has had a long and colorful history: in its early years it served as a boarding house, and then later a law office and bookstore.
Sitting on a less than one-acre site, the Palacio Ruella House is located in the El Presidio Historic District, a part of the city made up of similar one-story historic residences, retail, and office structures, many of which are well more than 100 years old.
The property, which is also situated in a defined Opportunity Zone, is listed by the Tucson-based Long Realty Company.
