A structure built during the years in which Denver was first turning into a booming railroad and manufacturing city is now on the market with an asking sale price of $2.7 million.
Located at 238 and 240 S. Broadway on a stretch of road once regarded as one of the city’s great thoroughfares, the Imperial Building was completed in 1893 and for years served as a multi-use property with both retail, office, and residential space.
In the last decade, the structure has been home to the popular Denver Distillery and Bardo Coffee Shop.
Designated as a Class C structure, the brick building comprises three floors and just under 13,000 square feet. The building was subject to an extensive renovation in 2019 and is known for its ornate exterior architectural detail and interior wood finishes.
The distillery portion of the building includes a tasting room, bar, and basement boiler room. The property is being listed by Transworld Commercial Real Estate, which has offices in Greenwood Village.
