A growing demand for industrial condos is expected to see the construction later this summer of just such facilities in Glendale, Arizona.
The company Red Hawk Development, which is based in Phoenix, has announced plans to build exactly 40 units in the 7900 block of N. Glenn Harbor Drive.
The units, which will all be air conditioned and have their own bathrooms, will measure between 966 square feet and 3,000 square feet. According to reports, some 25 of the planned units will also feature their own private yards.
The industrial condo movement are being seen in places as disparate as Hampton Roads, Virginia, and metro Los Angeles. Such space, notes the publication Medium, “divides large warehouse or flex-industrial space into smaller, deeded units.”
Prices for the Red Hawk Class A condos are expected to start at just under $360,000 and will be determined by the square footage.
Reports the site Scottsdale: the project, to go up in the Red Hawk Industrial Park, will feature units built to “commercial grade standards, and designed for flexibility,” making them particularly appealing for those seeking “secure, customizable space.”
The Red Hawk company was launched in 2000 and has to date built some 17 industrial space projects.
