Construction could begin early next year on a new medical campus in the growing city of Buckeye, Arizona.
The project belongs to the Phoenix-based Abrazo Community Health Network and is expected to see the building of a 65,000 square foot medical office facility.
As planned, the new facility will be a part of the Abrazo West Campus, which in turn, is a component of what is generally regarded as the largest health care delivery system in Arizona.
In a statement, Hans Driessnack, chief executive officer of the Abrazo West Campus, said that the “array of medical specialties and services that are committed to a presence on the Buckeye camps will have a substantial impact on the community.”
Located near the southwest corner of Interstate 10 and Verrado Way, in a part of the city with a host of planned new residential and commercial projects, the campus will also include an acute health care hospital as well as an ambulatory services facility.
The Abrazo Community Health Network was founded in 2003 and to date includes 5 acute care hospitals, as well as one cardiovascular-specialty hospital.
