A north central Arizona city with double-digit population growth in the last two decades will soon see work on an upscale residential community located at a vast 3,600-acre site.
The project belongs to the Scottsdale-based Symmetry Companies, which has recently spearheaded a similarly large project in Flagstaff, with luxury homes starting at around $3 million.
The new semi-custom homes project at Talking Rock Ranch in north Prescott will include similarly priced homes, with floor plans measuring between 2,700-square feet and 4,000-square feet.
The project is designed to center on an 18-hole golf course, with a requisite clubhouse and upscale restaurants, a grocery store, coffeehouse, and a dog park.
In anticipating the possibilities for what remains in many ways an untapped Prescott luxury market, the Symmetry Companies has established an office in the city of nearly 50,000 people.
In a statement, Todd Stevensson, a partner at Symmetry, said the Talking Ranch project would offer a “unique opportunity for discerning buyers seeking an exceptional lifestyle defined by outdoor adventure, refined living, and a strong sense of community.”
The metro Prescott area has in the last two decades witnessed a nearly 7% annual growth rate, placing it within the category of such booming southern Arizona cities as Goodyear, Casa Grande, and Queen Creek.
Described as a “lifestyle-focused developer of luxury residential communities,” Symmetry Companies is taking on the Prescott project in conjunction with Harvard Investments, a Scottsdale-based real estate developer.
