A more than 100-year-old building that has long been the home of the American Fabrics company in downtown El Paso is up for sale for $1.2 million.
Located at 1630 Texas Avenue, the building measures just under 14,000 square feet, and is designated as a Class C structure.
The rectangular-shaped building, with a steep pitched roof, was for roughly half a century between the 1920s and 70s, the home of the Peterson Lumber and Paint Company.
It subsequently served as a production facility for the House of Foam and Fabrics.
In the last two decades it has housed American Fabrics, a thriving company known for its wide variety of upholstery products, vinyl wraps, automotive carpeting, and polyester fabrics, among other items.
The two-story building is located in an industrial neighborhood, surrounded by warehouses and garages.
The property is being listed by the realty firm Real Estate Power Houses, which is based in El Paso.
