A just over 2,700-square-foot structure in Flagstaff that formerly housed a Montessori school is now on the market, with a listed price of around $758,000.
Located at 2212 E. Cedar Avenue on the north side of the city, the one-story structure was built in 1975 and for more than two decades served as the home to the Montessori School of Flagstaff.
Earlier this summer it was announced that the Montessori group was consolidating four of its schools in Flagstaff into one location: the Marshall Elementary School at 850 N. Bonito Street.
The Cedar Avenue structure has had a long history as a school destination. Before housing the Montessori school, it was occupied in the 1980s by the Cornerstone Christian Schools, Incorporated.
Just after its completion in 1975, the building was also the home to the Mary Moppets Day Care School.
Designated as a Class B structure, the free-standing pitch-roof building sits on a just under 1-acre site.
The property is being listed by the Phoenix-based offices of Cushman & Wakefield.
