Modern Town Home-Style Residential Project in Scottsdale Set to Go to Review

The Arden rendering City of Scottsdale

A Scottsdale project that has been in the talking stage for several months is scheduled to go before the city’s Development Review Board on October 9.

To be built on a one-acre site at 7601 East Polk Street, what is being called The Arden will see the construction of two dozen, three-story townhome style residential units.

The project, on the south side of the city near the Tempe border, will also include the building of two-car garages with each unit.

According to documents submitted to the city by the Scottsdale-based Tomecak Design firm, which specializes in mixed-use projects throughout southern Arizona, the project will include painted stucco exteriors and balconies with custom metal guardrails.

The site off East Polk Street was formerly a single-family home that has since been demolished, with the surrounding neighborhood made up of homes and apartment complexes.
