A ten-story office building in downtown Denver is scheduled to for a two-day online auction beginning on October 19.
Encompassing more than 124,000 square feet, the building at 1630 Welton Street was built in 1982 and was originally the home to the Colorado Athletic Club. The structure features several mezzanine levels as well as a penthouse rooftop amenity space.
It was purchased nearly a decade ago for a reported $9.5 million by the Chicago-based Level Office Management. In the summer of 2024, according to the Denver Post, Level Office gave up its ownership of the structure “rather than face foreclosure.”
The structure, in a part of the city dominated by 1980s and 1990s high-rises, has formerly housed on its ground level the House of Imports and Wild Bangkok bar and grill before it became in 2020 the home to the Expansive co-working space company.
The listing for the auction, with a minimum starting bid of $1.1 million, is being conducted by the Denver offices of CRBE.
