Work will soon be underway on the construction of up to 291 homes in the growing city of Avondale, Arizona.
The project belongs to the Dallas-based Dominium and will go up on a 25-acre site roughly 20 miles to the west of downtown Avondale.
Called the Rosilian Villas, the project units will be build-to-rent and will include two- and three-story buildings housing three- and four-bedroom units
The project reflects what has been a booming build-to-rent industry in southern Arizona that in recent years has included upwards of 30,000 such units in just metro Phoenix alone.
The more than 50-year-old Dominium company has completed upwards of $200 million in such projects, and is said to have projects worth around $300 million in the planning stage. The company has been particularly active in the Southeast and throughout the West.
In remarks made to the publication CoStar News, Jacob Berger, Dominium development associate, said the company is currently working to secure permits with the city of Avondale for the Rosilian Villas project.
The site for the project on the west side of Dysart Road and just to the south of West Van Buren Street is surrounded by mostly recently built residential and commercial structures.
Specifically geared for larger families with earnings at or below 60% of the area median income, Rosilian Villas has a targeted opening date of sometime in early 2029.
