New Flexible Industrial Project Set for Construction in Mesa, Arizona

Work is expected to begin later this year on a project that will see the building of four industrial space structures varying in size between 40,000 to 100,000 square feet in Mesa, Arizona.

The project belongs to Atlas Capital Partners, which is based in Scottsdale, and will go up on just under 40 acres at 4140. S. Signal Butte Road.

What is being called the Atlas Exchange has been described by the Phoenix Business Journal as a “rare flexible industrial project that is being built from the ground up, rather than a renovation.”

To be done in conjunction with the Hawkins Development Company, which has offices in Scottsdale, the Atlas Exchange will also see the construction of paddleball courts and shaded ramadas.

The four planned structures will all be Class A buildings and together will comprise some 255,000 square feet.

Atlas Capital has taken on industrial, commercial and residential projects throughout Arizona, but also in Colorado, Texas, and Michigan.

The company purchased the Signal Butte Road property for a reported $13.8 million.
