A Chicago-based developer with a national focus has announced plans for the construction of a 315-unit apartment complex in Scottsdale.
To be called the Residences at Scottsdale Crossing, the seven-story project will be built on the north end of Scottsdale at 7077 E. Bell Road and will feature a combination of studios, and one-, two-, and three-bedroom units.
The Fifield Companies, which last year announced plans for the construction of a 268-townhome project in Avondale called the District at Crystal Springs, focuses primarily on urban-based upscale properties.
Fifield has taken on multi-story residential, hotel, and office projects throughout Chicago, as well as California, Georgia, and Texas.
The new Scottsdale project for Fifield will additionally feature a meeting room, spa, fitness room, and yoga studio, as well as rooftop amenity deck. Larger site features include a courtyard, walking path, and dog run.
Todd + Associates, which has offices in Phoenix, has been brought in as architect for the estimated $100 million project.
To make way for the project, a strip mall called the Salon Plaza at the 4.3-acre site on E. Bell Road will be demolished. That two-story mall was built in 1999.
