A more than century-old building in downtown El Paso that encompasses 73,200 square feet is now being listed for sale.
Located at 119 N. Stanton Street, the International Building is designated as a Class B structure and was designed by well-known Southwest architect Henry Trost.
Originally called the Two Republics Life Insurance Building, the structure was completed during an early 1920s building boom in El Paso and features a detailed lobby with marble walls and floors, as well as bronze gates and grilles.
Upon its official opening in February of 1921, the structure was hailed by the El Paso Times for having a “complete hot and ice water system for every office.”
Office space in the building was entirely leased out at the time of its opening, a trend that continues to this day.
Listed by the El Paso offices of realtor REPcre, the asking price for the International Building is $4.9 million.
