Plans in the increasingly popular Cherry Creek section of Denver may see the construction of a mixed-use project comprising around 88,000 square feet.
The company Phenomena LLC has said that it wants to build the project at 3035 East 3rd Avenue and envisions a four-story structure with restaurant and retail space on the ground level and offices on the upper stories.
The project will also include two levels of underground parking for up to 90 vehicles.
The property, which is currently the site of a one-story structure built 32 years ago, was purchased last May by Phenomena for $9.8 million.
For more than two decades that building has been the home to a restaurant called Cucina Colore. The roughly 7,000-square-foot building will be demolished to clear the way for the new Phenomena project.
According to city records, the firm Open Studio Architecture, which has offices in Denver, is involved with the design of the new building.
