Located at 613 Callejon Road, the Casa Gallina Bed & Breakfast on the east side of Taos is on the market with an asking price of around $2.2 million.

Originally built in 1915 and renovated in 2016, the nearly 5,200-square-foot, one-story lodge, is comprised of five rooms, and includes exposed wood-beamed ceilings, skylights, and both fireplaces and wood stoves in the individual casitas.

The inn has through the years been praised as a destination spot, with the Rough Guide to Southwest USA in 2024 calling it a “hugely welcoming and very comfortable bed and breakfast,” distinguished by its spacious gardens and the forty or so chickens that are a part of the estate.

The Taos News noted that not only did the casitas have Wi-Fi, but also their “own private outdoor space, whether it’s a deck or patio.”

What is called the Studio on the property, featuring hardwood floors, has been used as a tango dance studio, meditation space, and meeting room.

The unique property is being listed by the Taos-based Lora Company Real Estate.
