Scottsdale Minimalistic Townhome Project Gets Green Light

The Arden rendering City of Scottsdale

Work may begin next year on the building of an upscale residential project in Scottsdale that will see the construction of nearly two dozen townhomes.

The project, to be built on a currently vacant site on the south side of the city at 7601 East Polk Street, has now won the approval of the Scottsdale Development Review Board.

To be built with three stories and a two-garage for each residential unit, what is being called The Arden will feature painted stucco exteriors and balconies on the second and third floors of each unit.

According to city documents, The Arden will encompass a minimalistic “contemporary urban design theme,” with each unit measuring around 1,700 square feet.

Development of the project will also see the building of new sidewalks and gutters at the roughly one-acre site.

The project is being spearheaded by the Scottsdale-based Tamerek Design firm.
