To make things easier, the U.S. Small Business Administration is launching a new streamlined website, the purpose of which is to allow applicants to more swiftly access funding as well as counseling and contracting.

In a statement, Kelly Loeffler, SBA Administrator, said the updated website will result in a “dramatically improved service level.”

A press release issued by the SBA says the new service “makes a strategic return to the agency’s founding mission: backing the small manufacturers, builders, and Main Street enterprises that are the backbone of American strength, production, job creation, and local communities.”

The agency says the updated service is a tribute to President Dwight Eisenhower who launched the SBA exactly 73 years ago this summer. “A story that started under President Eisenhower in 1953 has become even stronger thanks to President Trump’s commitment to Made in America and to our hardworking Main Street job creators,” remarked Loeffler.

The redesigned SBA website now includes a single, secure login for SBA services; and a “lending journey” that simplifies how lenders originate and process SBA loans.

The agency has also endeavored to substantially reduce phone wait times with what is officially called its National Answer Desk Hotline, seeing an average drop from some 20 minutes two years ago, to less than a minute today.

Last year the SBA guaranteed roughly 84,000 loans equal to $45 billion, a figure that was reduced by an estimated $5 billion due to the late 2025 government shutdown.
