A more than 4,300-square-foot brick industrial structure in downtown El Paso that has for decades housed the Wicker Tire and Rubber Company is up for sale.

Located at 701 W. Paisano Drive, the structure, designated as a Class C building, was built in 1939 and includes extensive garage and warehouse space.

Wicker Tire has been an El Paso mainstay since the mid-1940s and launched the Paisano Drive facility as a recapping plant in 1951.

A second company facility measuring around 14,500 square feet is located at 201 Anthony Street, one block away from the W. Paisano address, and is a Class B building. That structure includes a visual landmark: a giant tire that was once a part of an earth-moving vehicle.

Both buildings are being offered as a package deal, with an asking price of $2.1 million.

The El Paso office of CRBE realtors is listing the properties.
