Plans have been submitted to the City of Denver for the construction of a mixed-use project that will include the building of just under 240 residential units.
The project belongs to the U.S. Bank, a subsidiary of U.S. Bancorp, which is based in Minneapolis but has locations in Denver and is one of the largest multinational financial services firms in the country.
As proposed, the structure, which will include retail space, will go up on a 4-acre parcel currently used for parking on the bank’s sprawling Denver Tech Center campus at 7900 E. Union Avenue. It will include buildings of different heights, with the structure for the housing component taller than the structures that will house the commercial space
The project is expected to cost around $60 million to complete.
Davis Partner Architects of Denver, which specializes in a wide variety of housing, hotel, and hospital work, is the project designer.
The Denver Tech Center comprises more than 900 acres and is home to a wide variety of communications, finance, and technology companies.
